You'll Be There For Me

In my deepest, darkest hour, in my time of endless pain

With no sign of salvation and a sky so full of rain

When I cannot see the light and I'm on my hands and knees

You'll be there for me

When I'm hiding in the shadows and the demons in my mind

Are winning all the battles in the war behind the lines

When I have no strength to fight and I'm on my hands and knees

You'll be there for me

You'll be there for me when winter turns to springtime

You'll be there for me when summer turns to fall

You'll be there for me when the stars are falling

And when I struggle hopelessly you'll be there for me

When I'm standing at the crossroads and I'm searching for a sign

Not knowing where to turn like the victim of some crime

When I don't know left from right and I'm on my hands and knees

You'll be there for me

You'll be there for me when winter turns to springtime

You'll be there for me when summer turns to fall

You'll be there for me when the stars are falling

And when I struggle hopelessly you'll be there for me

And when the sky is clearing and I'm coming home in peace

When my storm has passed over and the raging winds have ceased

I'll shake off all the chains and I'll get off my hands and knees

And you'll be there for me

You'll be there for me when winter turns to springtime

You'll be there for me when summer turns to fall

You'll be there for me when the stars are falling

And when I struggle hopelessly you'll be there for me
